In 2026 the Avila Alumnae Celebration Day is scheduled for Saturday 14 November from 2pm-4pm. All former students and staff are invited to attend and explore the school campus.

60th Anniversary Alumnae Celebration – 2025

Avila College students and staff, past and present, came together to celebrate 60 years as a learning community. From founding students to current Year 7’s, past Principals and former staff, the Heritage Hall buzzed with animated conversation, squeals of recognition and the joy of reconnection. Avila’s student Heritage Helpers set up displays from the archives and Ambassadors introduced current spaces to their alumnae counterparts.

As Year 10 students Neve and Patti beautifully articulated – “We’re proud to carry forward the legacy of confident, compassionate and courageous women who make a difference.”

2026 International Women’s Day Breakfast

Avila College was delighted to welcome back Nicole Donnison (Class of 1994) as our guest speaker for the International Women’s Day Breakfast co-hosted with Salesian College Chadstone. Nicole shared her experiences within the construction industry and answered the student panel questions on female participation rates, gender equity, social impact and the opportunity for women within this sector. Thank you Nicole for a fascinating insight and discussion.
